Dyna Gear, API GL4, SAE 80W90 & 85W140 are high performance, heavy duty gear lubricants formulated from high quality base oils and an advanced additive system. These lubricants are engineered for automotive heavy-duty transmissions, axles, and final drives where protection against wear and scoring is required. They are recommended for use in applications where API GL4 service is required.

Today’s heavy equipment applications place higher performance demands on drivetrain lubricants. Higher speeds, higher torque, and heavier loads require improved formulations to maximise equipment life and optimise operating costs. Longer service intervals place additional demands on the gear lubricant requiring effective base stock and additive systems. Dyna Gear, API GL4, SAE 80W90 & 85W140 is engineered to meet these challenges.

Dyna Gear, is available in two multi-viscosity grades: SAE 80W90 & 85W140. Dyna Gear may also be available on mono grades on customer demand.

 Good thermal stability and resistance to high temperature oxidation that extends gear and bearing life due to minimal deposits and longer seal life.
Excellent rust and corrosion protection for longer component life.
Good low temperature lubrication that reduces wear at start-up and ease of start-up.
Compatible with typical seals and gaskets that minimize leakage and reduces contamination.

Application

Heavy duty manual transmissions, axles and final drives requiring API GL4 level performance. Passenger cars, on highway light and heavy-duty trucks, and commercial vehicles. Off highway industries including: construction, mining, quarrying, and agriculture. Other heavy duty industrial and automotive applications including hypoid gears operating under moderate to severe conditions.
